Place the double sided tape on your ornaments in the pattern you prefer, then you can roll the ornament into a dish of beads and they will automatically adhere to the ornament. You may cover the entire ornament with double sided tape and create a completely covered beaded Christmas ornament. Some ideas for children include a beaded garland for the Christmas tree. This is similar to stringing popcorn; only use colorful pony beads instead. Many pony beads include Christmas and holiday colors such as red, green, gold, and silver, as well as beads that contain metallic sparkles. Simply string the beads and voila- your child has created a beautiful Christmas beaded garland. Be sure to use strong glue at the end of the garland to prevent from breaking. A dab of hot glue from an adult operated glue gun will prove suitable for the task. You may also use pipe cleaners and multi colored pony beads for children to create their own beaded ornaments. These ornaments don’t require additional ribbons for hanging either; the pipe cleaners will be suitable for hanging on the tree.
